Microfluidics, spectroscopy, microscopy, electrochemistry, bacterial biofilms, and bioenergy such as microbial fuel cells. On-site facilities for microfluidic manufacturing and biological preparation. Custom sensors and instrument interface for in situ micrometer measurements.

Industrial research collaborations

Thermoforming microfluidic devices with optical systems and integrated electrodes. Use of new materials for the rapid manufacture of thermoforming tools.
