What does the laboratory do
- Develop and characterize a new model of psoriatic substitutes using tissue engineering;
- Carry out the physicochemical characterization of pathological skin substitutes by infrared and Raman spectroscopy;
- Validate the model of pathological skin substitutes by comparing the skin penetration of lipophilic, hydrophilic and amphiphilic molecules;
- Study the effects of serum when culturing skin substitutes;
- Use the pathological properties of psoriatic keratinocytes in the development of a monolayer model of inflammation;
- Study the antioxidant, toxicological and antiproliferative properties of polyphenolic extracts from Canadian tree bark on normal and psoriatic keratinocytes.
