Annual symposium
symposium2022 | Friday January 28th

The CERMA Annual Conference is an activity organized each year by and for students of the research center so that they can present advances in their research work. In each edition, there are nearly 40 oral and poster presentations which are given in front of an audience of around a hundred people. This is an opportunity for different research groups to discuss scientific questions, to establish new links and to establish new partnerships. The presence of guest speakers from different research centers, Canadian and foreign universities as well as industries in the field of materials allows CERMA’s expertise to be promoted beyond Laval University.

The 2022 edition of the CERMA Annual Conference was held on January 28 in virtual mode.

The 2022 edition featured company and student presentations. There was also a poster session. The students presenting a poster had the chance during the day to convince the conference participants to come and see their work using a “flash presentation”. Prizes were awarded for the best oral and poster presentations by students.

The theme of the conference this year was: materials of the future in everyday life.
